As a dedicated solicitor in the Crime and motoring departments, I specialise in representing clients at every stage of the criminal justice process. I am also a fully accredited duty solicitor providing advice and representation in the police station and court. I have handled a wide array of cases, including financial crime, drug-related offences, violent crime, motoring offences, and online offences. My client base is equally diverse, encompassing individuals from all walks of life such as young people, vulnerable adults, and those requiring interpreters or intermediaries. I also have experience representing patients detained under the Mental Health Act.

In the courtroom, particularly in the Magistrates’ Court, I have successfully represented clients across a spectrum of criminal proceedings. I am confident in my ability to navigate complex legal issues and to deliver effective, tailored support to anyone facing criminal charges. My clients give me very good feedback, not only about the results in Court, but also about the way that I keep them informed about the progress of their cases and am able to reassure them throughout proceedings.

My professional background is equally varied. Before qualifying as a solicitor, I trained extensively in the family law, mental health, and criminal defence sectors, gaining a holistic understanding of the law’s many facets. I have a particular interest in the intersection between criminal and mental health law, which allows me to offer informed, compassionate representation to clients with unique needs.

I graduated from Oxford University in 2016 with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). I then completed my Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and was awarded the Prize for Best Performance in my year group. Following that, I completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) masters program at Northumbria University with distinction. My academic background means that I am well equipped to navigate complex areas of law and ensure the best results for my clients. I take time to explain the process to my clients so that they know what to expect and tailor my advice to their specific situation.
