I am a qualified solicitor specialising in criminal and family law. I have worked at David Gray solicitors for over a decade.

I represent clients in the Magistrates Court, drawing on my years of criminal law experience to provide effective representation, reassurance, and clarity. As part of both the crime and motoring department, I handle a wide array of cases. I have been an accredited Police Station Representative for 7 years.  I frequently represent clients at the Police Station, providing knowledgeable and empathetic support during what is often a highly stressful and emotional time.

In Crown Court cases, I work with our approved team of barristers providing comprehensive case preparation, and assisting in court hearings and conferences. I have worked across various roles within the crime department, which has given me a unique insight into the intricacies of legal practice and client needs.

Working in our family law department has given me valuable exposure to all aspects of family law, which often intersects with my criminal practice. This cross-disciplinary knowledge has proven particularly advantageous in cases where clients involved in care proceedings are interviewed by the police, allowing me to effectively manage both aspects of their legal needs. I also spent time in mental health and property, developing skills that further enrich my practice and enable me to consider and address a wide range of issues that clients may face.

I am deeply committed to achieving the best outcomes for my clients. I prioritise clear communication, aiming to be a supportive ally while also providing realistic assessments of the outcome of each case. My dedication to delivering exceptional service is evident in my genuine care for each client’s unique situation and individual needs.

Following the attainment of a 2:1 Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Newcastle University, I graduated from the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2022 with a Distinction, receiving a Certificate of Commendation from the President of the Newcastle Law Society for my outstanding academic performance. I am known for my keen eye for detail and meticulous nature, which has earned me accolades from colleagues and barristers alike.
