Skip to contentI am a Trainee Solicitor in the Court of Protection Department. I assist with proceedings under Sections 21A and 16 if the Mental Capacity Act 2005. My responsibilities include drafting court documents, preparing legal aid applications, liaising with the Local Authority and family members, and attending court hearings.
I understand that court proceedings can be a difficult process, and I aim to bring a passionate, effective, and easy to understand approach. In particular, proceedings in the court of protection can be daunting and difficult to navigate and I am empathetic and I can explain the process in a way that you understand.
I graduated from the University of Hull in 2022 with a first-class degree in Law and Legislative Studies. I then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course with the LLM incorporation at Northumbria, graduating with a commendation in 2023.
I began my career at David Gray as a paralegal in the family department, assisting in public law children matters and domestic abuse work until commencing my training contract.
