I am an experienced Family Solicitor, a trained Mediator and a member of Resolution.  I am also specialist Resolution accredited in public law and private law children.

The Legal 500 2020 describes me as a ‘recommended solicitor.’

I regularly represent clients in relation to arrangements between separated parents and their children, resolving issues of how often the non-resident parent has contact with their children and where the children should live. I am also regularly instructed in respect of those who find themselves in proceedings following Social Services involvement with their family.

I provide advice and assistance to clients who are separating or want to start divorce proceedings and the financial issues arising from relationship breakdown.

I am a member of the firm’s domestic abuse team and I am committed to helping victims of domestic abuse. I have developed experience of representing clients in relation to urgent injunctions (known as non-molestation orders and occupation orders). I also provide specialist advice in relation to cohabitation disputes and the financial issues arising from this.

I understand how stressful and daunting it can be instructing a solicitor and how important it is for you to instruct someone who has experience in the relevant areas who will listen and meet your needs. I will work to make sure that a difficult time in your life becomes easier by helping you to maintain as much control as possible over the end result. I will advise you about your options for resolving your problem and about other services to help you get through this stressful time.

I graduated from the University of Northumbria in 2006 after completing the Bachelor of Law (Exempting) Law Degree. I have been qualified as a solicitor since 1 June 2012, and I have practiced exclusively in Family Law since this time.

I am also fluent in Punjabi.
