As with all immigration applications, it is important you seek advice to ensure you make your application on the correct basis and provide the necessary evidence to ensure the best chance of success. Our specialist spouse visa lawyers and family visa lawyers can support you through the application process.

An applicant needs to meet suitability and eligibility criteria such as having an approved English language qualification and level of income. You may also be asked questions to determine if your relationship is genuine.

Children under 18 can apply to come to the UK as dependents of British citizens or those settled in the UK or travelling to the UK themselves.
Depending on the circumstances, children can be eligible for indefinite leave to enter the UK or temporary stay in line with their parents.
Suitability and eligibility criteria need to be met.
